Percentage on Men and Women Who Cheat

When we marry it is for better or worse, right? Well research has shown that it all starts out with promises, love, and high hopes. As time goes on each partner finds things that he or she do not like about each other and find themselves looking for something better, so they think. As my grandmother use to say, "the grass is never greener on the other side." This is something everyone should learn and understand that the other person that he or she thinks is better still has some "tick" that he or she does not like. We are not perfect and we all have our faults. Take a look at the percentages below on men verses women on cheating, is it what you thought it was? Give you comments on what you thought the percentage should be or what you thought they were. Below is also a list of other things people have done that would be considered as cheating, do you disagree or agree with the list. Give your opinions we would love to hear them.

Percentages

Approximately 50 percent married women and 60 percent of married men will have an extramarital affair at some time in their marriage.

A University of California study in 1998 reported that 24 percent of men and 14 percent of women had had sex outside their marriages. In only 10 years, those numbers have more than doubled.
According to Divorce magazine, only 46 percent of men believe that online affairs are adultery and 75 percent of married people believe it's okay to visit an adult site online.

Other things that people considered cheating

  • 57 percent of people have used the Internet to flirt.

    • 38 percent of people have engaged in explicit online sexual conversation.
    • 50 percent of people have talked on the phone with someone they first chatted with online.
    • 31 percent of people have had an online conversation that has led to in-person sex.

    Wife Needs Bathroom Privacy

I was talking to a friend the other day and she was complaning about not being about to go to the bathroom without her husband coming in and interrupting her. She says that he just walks on in and starting shaving or showering. He says that they have been married for 15 years and this should not be a problem for her. She thinks that the bathroom is suppose to be where you have private time. She asked me what I thought and I said; "Well, I think it is a person's private time, but should you have not locked the door if you did not want anyone in there with you". Of course this upset her because she thought I was not on her side.

Would love to hear your thoughts on bathroom time.

    Bad Customer Service

I was in Walmart the other day doing some shopping and needed some help with an item. I could not find anyone around so I had to go and find someone, I did find someone but they said "this is not my area let me find you someone". Well you know how that went right, they never returned. So, the item ranging from $60-$160 did not get purchased because I could not get customer service. Now I make my way to the checkout and again bad customer service. The lady never greeted me and throwed my items in the bags. She told me the amount that I owed and never said thank you or anything.

Why is it so hard for people to smile, say thank you, help others when needed, or just work. If you did not want the job why get the job in the first place. Come on people, choose the job you love not because you  have to because this is the results. Send in your thoughts on this post, the world would love to know just how bad customer service really is.

    Treating People Right is Priceless

According to a survey, a whopping 70% of Americans are willing to spend an average of 13% more with companies that provide "excellent" customer service. That's up from 2010 when 58% of Americans said they would spend an average of 9% with companies that treat them exceptionally well.

Sadly, 60% of Americans believe that businesses have not increased their focus on providing good customer service, while 26% think that companies are paying less attention to service.

    Bullying Within the Schools

I was watching the news the other day and there was this lady in Ohio that was going around to the schools talking about bullying. She was conducting small seminars to help the young adults to know that bulling was not the way. I stand in applause for this woman. There is to much bullying within the school system and nothing is being done about it. My daughter was a victim of bullying in the second grade. She was locked in the girls bathroom stall with another girl that was giving out threats and would not let her out. When she went to the teacher of the situation the teacher asked the little girl if she did it and she of course said no. Teacher said "well if I did not see it then I cannot do anything about it". I tried to take action and nothing was done. I went to the higher up to get a transfer for my child and was brought in by the principle to be ridiculed for not talking to her, which I did but she said she took care of it (not). Bullying is nothing to let go, if your child is being bullyed at school please take the time to do something. This bullying affects their education, soical environment, self-esteem, and self-concept. Rid the world of bullying.

Information on the statistics of bullying:

  • One third of teens reported being bullied while at school
  • About 20 percent of teens had been made fun of by a bully, 18 percent of teens had rumors or gossip spread about them, 11 percent were physically bullied, such as being shoved, tripped, or spit on, 6 percent were threatened, 5 percent were excluded from activities they wanted to participate in, 4 percent were coerced into something they did not want to do, and 4 percent had their personal belongings destroyed by bullies
  • 4 percent of teens in this study reported being the victims of cyber bullying
  • Most bullying occurred inside the school, with smaller numbers of bullying incidents occurring outside on the school grounds, on the school bus, or on the way to school
  • Only about a third of bully victims reported the bullying to someone at school
  • About 2 of every 3 bully victims were bullied once or twice during the school year, 1 in 5 were bullied once or twice a month, and about 1 in 10 were bullied daily or several times a week
  • In addition, about 20 percent of students experience physical bullying at some point in their lives. About 8 percent of students have been the victims of a cyber bullying. Studies have indicated that females may be the victims more often than males.
